My client, a leading housing developer, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with a 3-5 years of experience. This role presents an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal part in the oversight and management of extensive housing projects located in the vibrant city of Dublin.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Senior QS in managing subcontract packages, overseeing payments, and handling normal QS duties.
- Ideally possess experience in RC frame/apartment, residential, and commercial projects.
- Collaborate in preparing monthly internal valuations and monthly cost reports.
- Report on budgets and variations.
- Maintain subcontractor and supplier contractual details.
- Task allocation reflecting increasing development and experience levels.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years Post-Graduate experience with a PQS or Contractor.
- Ability to meet demanding time and quality targets.
- Proficient in Cubit, Cost-ex, or equivalent, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Willingness to attend training and develop relevant knowledge.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Methodical, detail-oriented, and accurate.
- Team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Accept responsibility for completing designated tasks.
