Senior Electrical Engineer needed to join an outstanding International Multidisciplinary Consultancy practice in Dublin. This Electrical Engineer role will suit a high calibre of candidates who are highly competent electrical design engineers with excellent interpersonal, communication and team working skills. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced electrical engineer to lead a team of engineers on some exciting projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead projects from concept stage to completion
- Design and specification of electrical services for various types of buildings and sectors
- Mentoring junior engineers
- Liaise with clients, architects, and project managers
- Develop the electrical design standards within the organisation
- Provide tender packages and monitor site until project completion
- Be capable of taking the lead on projects with minimal input from management
Requirements:
- Engineering Degree and ideally progressing towards Chartered Engineer.
- Strong experience in design of electrical engineering systems for buildings, together with a keen interest in passive design techniques, sustainable environmental solutions, and renewable energy technologies.
- 8+ years postgraduate electrical building services design experience required.
- The successful Electrical Engineer will have a proven track record in the successful design and delivery of high-quality projects across a range of sectors.
- AutoCAD and REVIT skills are essential.
- Self-motivated with good time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English with an understanding of tact, diplomacy, and negotiation.
- A desire to solve problems and produce exemplar projects that inspire pride
- An interest in minimising the environmental impact of design decisions made.
