Electrical Engineer required for a well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Dublin City Centre. The successful Electrical Engineer will have an excellent opportunity to lead on the design of some of the most exciting electrical design projects in Ireland, the UK and internationally. Duties:
- The successful Electrical Engineer will manage engineering projects and co-ordinate resource and activities to achieve short-term time and financial targets.
- Produce engineering designs, calculations, and specifications, using appropriate technical software.
- Check calculations, specifications, drawings, and reports produced by others, in accordance with Operational Procedures.
- Report regularly to relevant Associate(s) on the performance of projects against agreed project plans and budgets
- Correspond with external third parties (clients, contractors, architects and/or manufacturers) regarding information and technical queries.
- Comply with project management, Operational (QA), Environmental and Health and Safety procedures.
- Provide training and coaching to less experienced staff.
Requirements:
- Engineering qualification at Bachelor s degree level or higher in a relevant discipline.
- 5+ years experience as an electrical engineer within a consultancy
- Proven technical competence and experience.
- Proven ability to plan and programme own work and that of others.
- Evidence of progress towards achieving recognition as a Chartered professional (preferred)
