Site Manager

A Site Manager is required for a leading Irish construction contractor to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects in Dublin.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Oversee day-to-day site operations, monitoring and tracking project progress.
  • Ensure all work complies with building regulations and other legal requirements.
  • Maintain quality standards across all aspects of the project.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors and other site labour.
  • Maintain close contact with members of the site team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Liaise with architects, engineers, surveyors, and planners.
  • Manage procurement of materials, tools, and equipment in a timely manner.
  • Create daily progress reports and communicate significant updates to management.

Requirements:

  • Third-level qualification or relevant trade background with practical experience.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale projects with strict adherence to timelines.
  • Excellent organisation, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of building practices and construction processes.
  • Experience managing multiple subcontractors and site teams.
  • Strong understanding of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
