A well-established and highly respected main contractor, operating in Ireland for nearly 100 years, is seeking a Site Engineer for a high-profile project based just outside Cork City. This is a long-term opportunity with one of the country’s leading main contractors, offering strong career development and exposure to large-scale commercial, residential, industrial and civil projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out setting out duties accurately using GPS, total station, and AutoCAD
- Assist in supervising site works and subcontractor coordination
- Ensure work is carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards
- Maintain site records, daily reports, and quality documentation
- Support the Senior Engineer and Project Manager in achieving project goals
Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience in a Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer role
- Proven setting out experience on civil or build projects
- Strong understanding of construction techniques and site operations
