Site Engineer

Site Engineer with at least 5 years’ experience required for a 2-3 year residential project in North Wicklow with a well-established residential developer.  The ideal candidate will be degree qualified in Civil / Construction Engineering and will have some site or Industry experience in residential construction as well as strong communication and IT skills, and will be energetic and motivated.  Excellent career prospects for enthusiastic, energetic persons interested in establishing a solid career in the residential sector.

Duties:

• Setting out foundations, structures, roads, and services.
• Supervising subcontractors including steel-fixers, shuttering carpenters, and concrete pours.
• Surveying, record keeping, and progress reporting.
• Coordinating with site and purchasing teams to manage materials.
• Supporting site management in overseeing operatives.
• Monitoring quality and building control plans.
• Assisting with health and safety inductions, audits, and compliance.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience (residential construction preferred).
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• IT literacy (surveying and MS Office tools).
• Motivated and career focused.

Salary:

• Starting Salary: €70k– €75k 
• Company van / Travel allowance
• Bonus
