A growing civil engineering contractor is seeking a motivated Site Engineer with 2+ years of experience to join their team on a large-scale solar farm project in Wicklow. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer looking to work on a cutting-edge renewable energy project while gaining invaluable experience in the civil and renewable sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Supervision: Assist with the day-to-day management and supervision of site activities, setting out, ensuring work is completed on schedule and to the required quality standards.
- Technical Support: Provide technical guidance to subcontractors and site teams, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
- Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, site measurements, and as-built drawings.
- Health & Safety: Enforce health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment on-site.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Site Engineer.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of civil construction processes, surveying, and site management.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with site teams and subcontractors.
- Health & Safety Awareness: Familiarity with health and safety regulations on construction sites.
