A leading civil engineering contractor with a strong track record in delivering major projects across Ireland is looking for a Site Engineer to join their team on a large residential development in Cork City.
Role Overview:
The Site Engineer will support the site management team on a key residential project. With 2+ years’ experience in civil engineering / construction, the role involves overseeing site operations, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set out and interpret engineering drawings.
- Oversee daily site operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Monitor progress, manage subcontractors, and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain accurate site records and report on progress.
- Assist in managing site resources and project scheduling.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a Site Engineer
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and site management.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel to site.
Benefits:
- Salary range €55,000 – €65,000 (DOE)
