About the Role: Site Engineer
An innovative and leading civil engineering contractor is looking for a dynamic Site Engineer to join their West Dublin team for an exciting new project. This is a prime opportunity to work on a high-impact residential project with a team that’s passionate about quality, precision, and engineering excellence.
Core Responsibilities:
- Setting Out & Surveying: Handle all setting out, leveling, and surveying duties for the site to ensure project accuracy and alignment with design specifications.
- Quality Standards: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control procedures, ensuring all work meets project standards and client expectations.
- Safety First: Proactively maintain a safe site by enforcing health and safety protocols, with regular site inspections and risk assessments.
- Problem Solving: Quickly identify and resolve issues, ensuring continuous progress on-site and minimal disruption to the project timeline.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on site engineering experience, ideally within civil engineering or construction.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline preferred.
- Experience with surveying instruments, such as total stations, and familiarity with site engineering software.
- Strong working knowledge of construction techniques, regulations, and quality standards.
- Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across teams.
Benefits Package:
- Attractive Salary: €55,000 – €65,000, depending on experience.
