Our client, a reputable and long-established property developer, is seeking a Site Engineer to join their team for a high-quality residential project in Cork City. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing technical aspects on-site, ensuring the smooth delivery of the project while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily site engineering activities, including setting out, surveying, and quality control.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and building regulations.
- Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve any technical issues.
- Monitor site progress and provide technical reports to the project team.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
- Assist in project planning, material procurement, and resource allocation.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years experience as a Site Engineer on construction projects.
- Strong understanding of Irish building regulations and safety standards.
- Proficiency in using engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Total Station).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
