Setting-out Engineer required for a well-established Tier 2 Main Building Contractor to work on a large scale residential project in Dublin 8  (circa 100mil)  Our client has an excellent reputation and this project is just about to commence.  Our client has a solid pipeline of great projects throughout the country and have grown substantially over the past few years whilst maintaining their high standards and reputation.  This is an Excellent opportunity for the Dublin based ambitious engineer who wants to join a contractor of this size who can provide faster progression and more exposure to the overall project.

Requirements:

• 2 years + experience of setting-out on building projects in Ireland or UK
• Construction/Civil Engineering degree qualified
• Strong Setting-out Experience
• Third level qualification (or equivalent) in Construction/Civil Engineering.
• Must be willing to travel
• Valid safe-pass.
• Fully conversant with the use of robotic Total Station, EDM instruments & GPS to complete accurate set out.

 Duties:

• Setting-out
• Subcontractor management
• Site supervision of various trades and contractors 
• Maintain strong health and safety standards
• Check plans and drawings to ensure all calculations are accurate 
• Making sure the work performed and materials used are as specified in the contract 
• Liaising with subcontractors, clients and other professional staff 

Salary:

• €60k – €65k
