A leading civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join their team for a long-term role based in South Dublin. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards, working on major infrastructure and residential projects. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a growing company with a strong pipeline of work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately set out works according to project plans and design specifications.
- Conduct site surveys and ensure all levels and measurements are correctly established.
- Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of site progress, materials, and measurements.
- Assist with quality control and ensure all work is completed to the required standard.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 3 years experience working on civil or construction projects.
- Proven experience in setting out on large-scale civil or construction projects.
- Proficient in the use of total stations, GPS, and AutoCAD.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and team-working skills.
- Full driver’s licence.
Salary & Benefits:
- Competitive salary in the range of €60,000 – €70,000.
