A well-established and highly respected main contractor, in operation for nearly 100 years, is seeking a Senior Site Engineer for a high-profile project based just outside Cork City.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set out the works in accordance with drawings and specifications
- Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, and daily operations
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards
- Maintain site records, documentation, and progress reporting
- Work closely with the Project Manager and design teams to resolve technical issues
- Contribute to programme planning and ensure project milestones are achieved
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in a site engineering role, preferably on large-scale residential or civil projects
- Strong knowledge of setting out, civil works, and construction processes
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills
- Experience working with GPS, AutoCAD, and surveying equipment
- Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline
