Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and site teams to optimize workflow, solve issues efficiently, and meet key project milestones.
- Quality Control: Uphold high standards of quality across all construction phases, performing regular checks to ensure work meets design specifications and compliance standards.
- Health & Safety: Maintain a safe site environment by enforcing health and safety regulations, conducting daily safety inspections, and championing a proactive safety culture.
- Documentation: Keep thorough records of daily progress, quality control, and site activities, preparing regular reports for management and assisting with project audits.
- Problem Solving: Identify potential issues early and take a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring smooth progress with minimal disruptions.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a key site contact for subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants, ensuring timely updates and a streamlined approach to all site activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of site engineering experience, ideally with large-scale projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment, such as total stations, and familiarity with site management software.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, quality control processes, and health and safety standards.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, with the confidence to lead teams and liaise with diverse stakeholders.
