Senior Quantity Surveyor
A well-established Main Contractor is seeking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding team.
Role:
- Manage the production of monthly Value Cost Reconciliation and Forecasting reports.
- Oversee the preparation and agreement of monthly project Payment Claims.
- Manage the preparation of Internal and External Project Cashflow information.
- Lead Change Control including identification, negotiation, and agreement.
- Assess and quantify the effects of delay and disruption on projects.
- Monitor and manage all commercial aspects of assigned projects.
- Procure Subcontractors & Suppliers, compile and issue Subcontracts.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent (QS conversion MSc or relevant Engineering/Construction degree with 8+ years surveying experience).
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role.
- Contractually and commercially astute.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience administering RIAI, GCC, and bespoke contracts.
- IT literate, with experience in Cubit, CostX & COINS software preferable.
- Full driving licence required.
