Senior Planner (Residential)
An opportunity exists for a skilled Planner with over four years of experience to join a highly regarded Tier 1 Main Building Contractor. The successful Planner will be the lead Planner on the residential side of the business -responsible for several large apartment schemes. The successful planner must possess suitable expertise in developing and managing complex project schedules throughout their entire project life cycle and collaborating with multi-discipline teams, including Engineering, Design, Construction Management, and Commissioning & Qualification. MS Project proficiency is a prerequisite for this role.
Role:
- New Project Planning and Scheduling
- Ensure project goals and timelines are met
- Develop and manage project schedules and control tools
- Identify project milestones and report on them
- Conduct Interactive Planning Workshops
- Analyze and develop critical paths
- Proficient in MS Project
- Regularly report schedule performance status to the project management team
- Provide valuable insights during Constructability Reviews
- Determine project schedule resource requirements
- Develop and communicate tools to achieve project goals
- Provide updates on project performance, identify variances, and suggest corrective action.
Requirements:
- 6 years’ experience in a similar role with a Main Contractor in Ireland or the UK.
- Strong analytical skills
- Good communication & people skills
- Good time management skills
- Self-starter and decision maker
- Self-starter and can-do-attitude is a must for this role
Salary:
- Basic salary circa €90k -100k
