Quantity Surveyor – Electrical 

Electrical Quantity Surveyor required to join one of Ireland’s largest M&E Engineering contractors on a Hyperscale Data Centre project in Belgium. The successful candidate will manage the commercial aspects of the project from budgeting to final accounts, ensuring financial compliance.

Responsibilities: 

• Validate the tender post-award with the Project Manager/Director and assist in preparing the project CCS by analysing tender and project requirements.
• Prepare cash flow projections, compile monthly reports, and ensure timely claims/notices submission in line with contractual provisions.
• Oversee client invoicing, subcontractor/supplier payments, and liaise with the Financial Department on project financials.
• Address disputes, monitor site procurement, and prepare reports on commercial and contractual matters.
• Attend meetings, conduct site measures, and draft correspondence in consultation with the Project Manager/Director.

Requirements:

• A Degree in Quantity Surveying or Building Services.
• Minimum 5 Years’ experience in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of Electrical packages.
• Experience working on industrial projects would be advantageous (Data Centre, Pharmaceutical).
• The successful Electrical Quantity Surveyor must be in Ireland or the UK at present and eligible to work in Ireland without the need for a permit.
