My client, a top Civil Engineering contractor in Cork are now searching for a Quality Manager based in Munster. This is a full-time permanent position. The successful person will report directly to the Managing Director. The successful Quality Manager will ideally be local to the wider Cork area but not essential.
Role:
- Responsible for all aspects of quality assurance, quality control, and maintaining effective liaison with client teams across all projects.
- The candidate will work closely with contracts managers and project managers across all projects.
- The person will also be responsible for attaining current and new accreditations.
- The work will be varied, and you will form part of a wider project team.
Requirements:
- Must have a third level qualification
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of direct experience in construction related quality management systems
- Experience on construction projects
- Must have demonstrated knowledge of ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems – requirements) international standard or equivalent and shall be able to exercise judgment against the criteria of the standard.
- Must have experience in inspection, testing and quality control for major civil engineering work.
- Preferably will have experience in material testing on civil engineering projects
- Must have excellent oral and written communication capabilities
- Must have a full driving license
Package:
- €55k – €70k DOE
