Ireland’s leading utilities contractor is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their team in Dublin. The successful candidate will work on critical utilities projects, with a focus on water, gas, and related infrastructure. Experience in utilities projects is highly advantageous. This is a long-term role with significant opportunities for growth within a dynamic and highly regarded company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of utilities projects.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specification.
- Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project progression.
- Monitor project performance and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Provide technical support and problem-solving for issues arising on-site.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports and records.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in a project engineering role, with utilities experience (water, gas) preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction and engineering principles.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Full driver’s licence.
Salary & Benefits:
- Competitive salary in the range of €75,000 – €85,000.
