Mechanical Project Engineers required to work for a leading Mechanical Engineering contractor to work on their projects in Limerick andCork. The successful Mechanical Project Engineer will be responsible for work a range of Pharmaceutical projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the team of area engineers overseeing specific construction areas.
• Provide technical support to area engineers to resolve field engineering queries.
• Collaborate with the Construction Manager to monitor the construction schedule and prioritize off-site pipe and support fabrication.
• Coordinate on-site activities between Mechanical and other disciplines.
• Compile weekly progress reports for the client and Project Manager, gathering updates from area engineers.
• Collect weekly variation reports from area engineers and submit them to the QS/Cost Engineer.
• Monitor the scope of work and identify potential out-of-scope activities on-site.
• Ensure equipment is ordered on time and coordinate project activities with the offsite fabrication team.

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer essential.
• Degree or Diploma in Building Services/Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience working on large scale pharmaceutical projects is beneficial.
• Knowledge of piping isometrics and P&IDs is essential.
• Team player with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with team members to complete tasks.

Salary & Benefits:

• €60,000 to €70,000 – DOE
