Mechanical Engineer
Mechanical Engineers required to join a Tier 1 Contractor on Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Education, Commercial and Data Centre Projects in Dublin & Cork. The Mechanical Engineer will report into the Project Manager and will be responsible for the working with a team of Mechanical sub-contractors ensuring the successful delivery of Mechanical systems.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare, check, and peer review HVAC, piping, plant, and clean utility designs.
- Provide design oversight across multiple projects, including peer reviews and checks.
- Resolve technical issues promptly to avoid project delays.
- Manage procurement from equipment inquiries to site delivery, maintaining a comprehensive audit trail.
- Prepare design risk assessments and support the development of method statements for Health and Safety.
- Collaborate with design, construction teams, and supply chain for smooth plant operation and handover.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and quality procedures, keeping thorough records.
- Liaise with the project manager to prepare the project close-out report.
- Monitor manufacturing progress and ensure timely equipment delivery to site.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
- 4+ Years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience working on Pharmaceutical or Semi-Conductor projects is essential.
- Good IT skills, particularly in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Packages.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines.
- A UK or EU passport is an advantage.
