Mechanical Construction Manager required to join one of Europe’s leading Tier 1 Main Contractors on a Data Centre project in The Netherlands. The successful Mechanical Construction Manager will report into the Mechanical Project Manager and be responsible for successful delivery of the projects Mechanical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all Mechanical Construction Related activities on site.
• Manage client communications effectively.
• Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and ensure all deliverables meet project and safety standards.
• Coordinate with the project team to schedule and sequence HVAC and pipework installations.
• Oversee project commercial aspects, from handover through to procurement of equipment, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
• Assist in documenting and costing scope changes, and prepare monthly valuations and final accounts.
• Manage the project schedule with a two-week look-ahead plan in collaboration with the team.
• Ensure labour requirements align with the project schedule.
• Adhere to compliance and governance, including health & safety on-site, enforcing safe practices among sub-contractors, and maintaining high housekeeping standards.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant trade qualification
• 4+ Years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience working on Data Centre projects would be beneficial.
• Good IT skills, particularly in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Packages.
• Ability to work to strict deadlines.

• Salary €90,000 to €100,000 DOE
