Lead Electrical Engineer
Location: Citywest, Dublin
Salary: €50’000 to €75’000 DOE
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic EPCM team working on one of the largest and most advanced construction projects in the semiconductor industry.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from initial design through to completion
- Develop, review, and approve electrical design plans and specifications
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems
- Conduct site inspections and oversee installation and commissioning
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and safety protocols
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure requirements are met
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Proven experience in leading electrical engineering projects within EPCM environments
- Strong knowledge of electrical design software and tools
- Excellent project management and leadership skills
- Thorough understanding of industry standards and regulations
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with renewable energy projects
- Familiarity with Irish electrical regulations and standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software
