Junior Estimator
We are currently recruiting a Junior Estimator to join a team based in Dublin and this role will be office based. The successful candidate will need great analytical skills, excellent communication and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure. You will play a key part in producing competitive mechanical estimates for a variety of build projects.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed mechanical estimates and tenders as part of a collaborative M&E team.
- Analyse tender drawings and specifications to complete accurate take offs.
- Assess sub-contractor quotations for compliance and suitability.
- Participate in pre and post tender interviews and advise managers on bid prospects.
- Monitor and report on competitor activity and relevant market trends.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and contribute to the delivery of high-quality bids.
- Ensure alignment with tender specifications and project requirements throughout the estimation process.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- 1 -2 years’ experience in a similar mechanical estimation role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and work packages.
- Excellent interpersonal, time management and communication skills.
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with cost reconciliation and methods of measurement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
