Junior Health and Safety Officer

 Junior Health and Safety Officer required to work for a Tier 1 Developer on an upcoming residential project in North Dublin. 

Role & Responsibilities:

• Enforce implementation of company’s policies, procedures, and management systems for health, safety, quality, and environmental issues.
• Assist site management in drafting and communicating Method Statements, Safe Plans of Action, and Tool Box Talks, providing advice and support as needed.
• Conduct Health & Safety induction programs for new employees or sub-contractors on site.
• Carry out regular inspections and site audits, reporting any findings to site and senior company management. Ensure prompt follow-up to address any identified issues.
• Ensure that all accidents are reported, recorded, investigated, and appropriate notifications are given to the Directors, Health & Safety Authority, and Insurers as required.

Requirements:

• Hold a relevant Qualification.
• 1 years’ experience or graduate level
• Hold a full, clean Driving license 
• Excellent IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office including strong excel skills
• Confident proactive and have strong interpersonal and communication skills
