A leading civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Formwork Foreman to oversee the formwork operations on a major apartment block project based in South Dublin. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all formwork activities on-site, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
- Lead and manage a team of formwork operatives and subcontractors, providing direction and technical guidance.
- Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to maintain progress.
- Maintain accurate site records, including work completed, materials used, and labor hours.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Formwork Foreman, preferably in large-scale residential or commercial projects.
- Strong understanding of formwork systems, construction processes, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- CSCS or equivalent safety certification is required.
