Experienced Electrical QAQC Lead required to join a leading M&E contractor for projects across Ireland. The successful Electrical QAQC Lead will develop, implement, and maintain the project Quality Plan and Inspection/Test Plans in line with the Client’s specifications.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

• Interpret and communicate contract quality requirements to the project team and relevant business functions, providing guidance as needed.
• Liaise with the client on quality-related issues, ensuring alignment with project goals and addressing client queries and concerns.
• Review, audit, and monitor the implementation of the Quality Plan, working closely with internal auditing teams.
• Establish and manage inspection and test programs, including witness point scheduling on a system-by-system basis.
• Ensure the client’s involvement in inspections or witness points, in line with the project’s contract and handover program.
• Lead the resolution of all quality-related matters with the Project Management Team and supervisory staff.
• Oversee the handover of quality records to the client, ensuring compliance with system-by-system requirements.
• Promote quality excellence through team training and benchmarking activities.
• Implement a structured approach to system handover and project completion.
• Foster effective communication between package owners and the quality team to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements:

• Electrical Trade Background and/or a Third Level qualification in either Electrical or Building Services Engineering preferred.
• 6+ years’ experience in an Electrical QAQC role is essential, also 4+ years in a lead role, or in a senior position.
• Good Knowledge of Electrical installation and commissioning.
• Strong communication and management skills, with the ability to clearly relay information to project staff and deliver comprehensive reports on progress and completion.
• The successful Electrical QAQC Lead must be in Ireland or the UK and be eligible to work in Europe.
