Electrical Engineer required to join one of Europe’s leading contractors for HV and MV Substation projects across Dublin. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the successful design and installation of large electrical systems in keeping with the project programme.

Responsibilities:

• Support Project Managers and the Delivery team by taking ownership of key aspects of project delivery, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
• Assist in the procurement process, coordinating equipment delivery schedules and ensuring timely and efficient delivery of materials.
• Liaise with existing and prospective clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring clear, effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to the preparation, evaluation, and presentation of tender documentation, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
• Conduct technical evaluations of equipment proposals to ensure they meet design and project specifications.
• Collaborate with manufacturers to verify that all equipment adheres to design standards and performance criteria.
• Assist with the management and coordination of onsite works, ensuring all activities comply with company standards of quality and safety.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or trade background.
• At least 5+ Years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience working with HV and MV substation projects.
• Familiarity with ESB standards & EPLAN is desirable.
• Fluent English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good IT skills, particularly in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Packages.
• Must have Irish/UK or EU experience.
