Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Salary: €45K – €60K DOE
Role:
We’re seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join an award-winning MEP consultancy. You’ll be part of a collaborative design team, working across the full project lifecycle on commercial, healthcare, residential, education, and industrial developments. This role offers structured career progression, mentorship, and opportunities to work toward Chartership.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior engineers with project delivery, surveys, and design team meetings
- Support client relationships, budgeting, and technical reporting
- Design and develop electrical engineering solutions to industry standards
- Review and guide junior staff, contributing to mentoring and knowledge sharing
- Contribute at all project stages from concept to completion
Requirements:
- Level 8 Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
- 3+ years’ experience in electrical design (consultancy background preferred)
- Proficiency in software such as Dialux, Amtech, E-Tap, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Working toward, or ambition to achieve, Chartered status
