Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Oversee multiple projects from inception through to handover, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budgets, and high-quality standards across all stages of construction.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams, including site managers, engineers, and subcontractors, to deliver best-in-class project outcomes.
- Contracts Management: Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and administration of contracts, ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
- Budget Control: Develop and monitor project budgets, implementing cost-saving measures where possible without compromising on quality or timelines.
- Quality Assurance: Uphold strict quality control measures across projects, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards and specifications.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks, proactively develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues efficiently to keep projects on track.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and key stakeholders, providing regular project updates and ensuring transparent communication throughout.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Champion health and safety standards across all sites, working with teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager role within construction, ideally with residential or mixed-use developments.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Skills: Proven leadership abilities with a track record of managing multiple large-scale projects, controlling budgets, and ensuring on-time delivery.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of contracts, construction regulations, and health and safety standards in Ireland.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with all stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the capacity to handle challenges quickly and efficiently.
