Commercial Lead (Mechanical) required to join a leading M&E contractor for a €200M+ project in Belgium. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HVAC systems and a proven track record of managing junior engineers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the commercial performance of projects from inception to completion
• Review monthly cost reports and manage follow-up actions
• Lead the commercial team, fostering continuous improvement and development
• Identify and manage business unit risks and project risks
• Ensure timely, accurate CCS reporting
• Drive project closeout for maximum commercial advantage
• Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage project measures and reporting processes
• Regularly review and enhance business processes
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and with value-driven solutions
• Mentor and guide junior commercial team members

 Experience/Qualifications:

• 7+ years’ experience in a commercial role with construction contractors
• Oversee the commercial performance of projects from inception to completion
• Degree in Quantity Surveying (ideally chartered or working towards it
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, and general construction scopes
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
• Proven leadership experience with a focus on team development
