Role:

• Setting out
• Overseeing building work
• Site surveying
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
• Assisting the procurement department
• Completing labour and plant returns
• General site civil engineering daily tasks

Requirements:

• Must hold a degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
• Must have a minimum 3 years’ experience on construction projects in Ireland or the UK
• Must have knowledge setting out equipment including GPS, site engineer level, total station.
• Excellent MS Office skills
• Full EU Drivers Licence

Salary

• Salary circa €55k – €65k DOE
• 24 days annual leave

• Reading & interpreting drawings for layouts, materials measure etc.
• Management of subcontractors/groundworkers
• Planning works in an efficient manner to ensure programme targets are achieved
• Liaise with client’s representatives/Design Team members as appropriate
• Ensure that all works are carried out to the highest Health and Safety standards.
• Ensure work is carried out to the highest of quality standards.
• Ordering and control of materials on site.

Requirements:

• Civil Engineering Degree
• 4+ years’ experience
• Strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills
• Self-motivating to deliver on safety, quality & programme
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Full driving license
