A Junior Engineer is required for a well-established Main Building Contractor to work on a project in Donegal. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or someone who has completed a college placement or work experience with a contractor. The successful Junior Engineer will gain valuable on-site experience while working alongside an experienced team on a live construction project.
Duties:
- A junior Engineer would assist the Site Engineer and Site Manager with day-to-day operations.
- Support setting out, surveying, and quality control on site.
- Help manage subcontractors and materials.
- Ensure health & safety standards are maintained.
- Report progress and issues to the engineering and management teams.
- Attend site meetings and keep accurate records.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Must have work experience or a college placement with a main contractor in Ireland or the UK.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Eagerness to learn and develop within a site-based engineering role.
- Must have fluent English and be eligible to work in Ireland.
- Full driving licence preferred.
Salary:
- Salary circa €35-40K
